Konstantin Razumov: Russian Painter

1 min read · September 9, 2026

Konstantin Razumov (Константин Разумов, born 1974) is a Russian painter working in a realist–impressionist idiom: academically drawn figures and portraits set against loosely brushed, Impressionistic backgrounds. His best-known subjects are idealised women in period dress and the nude.

Style and career

According to gallery and auction records, Razumov trained in Moscow — dealer biographies name the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture founded by Ilya Glazunov — and continues to live and work in the city. His paintings circulate widely on the secondary market: auction databases list several hundred results for his work through houses in the United Kingdom and elsewhere.

Biographical details for Razumov beyond his year of birth and his realist–impressionist practice are drawn from gallery and auction listings and are not independently documented; where sources conflict they are omitted here rather than stated as fact.
