Marcel Duchamp is the subject of the first major North American retrospective since 1973, organised by the Museum of Modern Art and the Philadelphia Museum of Art with the Centre Pompidou.
The exhibition opened at MoMA in New York (12 April – 22 August 2026) and travels to the Philadelphia Museum of Art (10 October 2026 – 31 January 2027). Nearly 300 works span six decades, from the notorious Nude Descending a Staircase to the Boîtes-en-valise and the material surrounding his final work, Étant donnés.
