Tate Modern in London is presenting a major retrospective of Ana Mendieta (15 July 2026 – 17 January 2027), the Cuban-American artist whose work fused performance, film, sculpture and the land.
The career survey brings together newly remastered films alongside early paintings and late sculptural work, following the through-lines of identity, displacement and the natural world that run across her brief but influential career. It is one of two Mendieta-scale reassessments anchoring Tate’s 2026 programme.
