Marina Abramović: Transforming Energy is on view at the Gallerie dell’Accademia in Venice from 6 May to 19 October 2026 — the performance pioneer’s first solo exhibition at the historic museum, timed to coincide with the Venice Biennale and her eightieth birthday.
Rather than a self-contained show, Abramović’s work is woven through the Accademia’s permanent-collection galleries, setting her performance-based practice in dialogue with centuries of Venetian painting.
